The separation of the ADU from the main structure allowed our design team to play with different colors and finishes in this suite. The Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass fixtures from Kohler really set the tone for both the ADU bath and bedroom. We started by utilizing a double towel bar as a place to display the luxurious textiles from Avasa Home and then fully embraced the gold tones by selecting the Nazca Wallpaper from York Wallcoverings, the Portia Bedroom collection from Intercon Furniture, and a colorful abstract 8×10 rug from Mayberry Rug.
The Nomad Sofa from Burrow not only brings in a beautiful, feminine blush color, but also provides an extra sleeping space for the ADU with the sleep kit. Acessories like the butler tray, wall art and bottle vases from Sagebrook Home and artifical blooming florals from AFLORAL bring in those perfect finishing touches.
Storage was not overlooked in this space! The ADU closet not only provides enough room for the structures utilties such as the hybrid water heater from Rheem and controls for the radiant floor heating system from Warmboard, but also the custom SpaceCreation system from ClosetMaid has enough drawer and hanging space for an abundant wardrobe!

Brasstown Bald is the highest peak in the state of Georgia and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding Appalachian Mountains. Its rugged beauty served as our inspiration for the ADU bedroom. Our design aimed to evoke a feeling of peace and tranquility, allowing one to escape the stresses of everyday life and connect with the beauty of nature in the secluded privacy of the ADU. A large window captures the natural light and provides a view of the outside scenery while woodsy fragrances in the ADU bedroom bring in the fresh scent of pine and other trees found at Brasstown Bald.
